My name is Olivia. I am a BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist and I adhere to the BABCP standards of conduct, ethics and performance. I attended Manchester Metropolitan University, where I was awarded a BSc in Psychology and MSc Psychological Well-being in Clinical Practice. Following this, I achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in BABCP - Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies at the University of Bolton. I have experience delivering CBT in the private sector, charity sector and NHS Talking Therapies.

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?

CBT is an evidence-based therapy aimed to help you understand how your thoughts, feeling and emotions are connected. By learning to recognize and challenge unhelpful patterns, CBT empowers you to manage stress, anxiety and depression more effectively. CBT encourages you to collaborate with your therapist to identify your therapeutic goals and is a short-term therapeutic approach designed to help you make long-lasting changes in your everyday life.

How can I help?

I currently offer online one-to-one CBT Sessions. Firstly, I will complete a thorough assessment of your presenting symptoms and help you to identify tangible therapeutic goals to work towards during treatment. This will help us to create a personally tailored treatment formulation. This will provide a detailed understanding of yourself, incorporate your goals and work as a blueprint for your evidence-based therapeutic treatment.
